I’ve been going to Disney ever since I was a little girl. My first trip was with my mom and grandmother. My parents purchased a timeshare and we would go as a family every year. Even as we got older and had the choice, we’d continue to ask to go to Disney. My husband Mike and I met and connected through our mutual love for the “home of the mouse”.
It was no surprise to our family and friends that Mike popped the question in the Rose Garden at Magic Kingdom. We even announced that we were expecting our first child in the very same place!
We spent our honeymoon at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii and plan to go back there for our 10 year anniversary, this time with all of our children.
Speaking of our kiddos, they have each been to Disney multiple times since the age of one. We have extensive experience traveling with 4 children; including a set of twins!
We have created the best memories with them at Disney, and it is amazing to see the parks through the eyes of a child. So while they “may not remember” all the details of every trip, we love experiencing Magical Memories for ourselves, and will share them for the rest of our lives.
Our newest obsession over the past few years has been the RunDisney Races. We absolutely love to the experience of race weekends and the kids have even participated and we hope they bring the kids races back soon!
Favorite Disney Snack: Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich at Dino-Bite Snacks in Dino-land at Animal Kingdom
Fun Fact: All 3 of our boys have gotten their first hair cuts at the barber shop on Main Street at Magic Kingdom. They have a first haircut package that includes a certificate, lock of hair and even a set of embroidered ears that say “My first haircut”
