Like most folks my age, I grew up on a steady diet of Disney movies, especially Robin Hood. I never had the opportunity to go to Disney as a kid, but in 2013, along with some friends, I made my first trip to Disney World. I researched that trip down to the second, and after a few minutes in the parks, I knew I was hooked.
A few years later I moved to Florida, and for a few years, Disney and Universal were my playgrounds. I would often visit the parks several times a week, meeting many of the amazing people that create the magical experiences that make Disney and Universal the treasured vacation destinations that they are. I've dined at nearly every restaurant on property; if you need recommendations, I'd be glad to help!
In April of 2022, after several false starts (thanks COVID), I ran the inaugural Springtime Surprise and got re-hooked, this time by RunDisney. I've also been working with the Rise and Run podcast (I'm the training plans / graphics guy), and if you've ever tried to find a charity bib for a runDIsney event, I'm the guy that made that spreadsheet you probably used.
Some of the best, most magical moments of my life happened at Disney, and I can't wait to help you plan your own magical vacation!
Favorite Snack: Bechamel, Cheese & Ham Galette
Favorite Restaurant: Sanaa (Disney) / Mythos (Universal)
Favorite Ride: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (Disney) / Velocicoaster (Universal)
Favorite Tip: No one is too old (or young!) for a nap. Rope Drop to beat crowds in the morning, head back to your room to relax or enjoy pool time in the afternoon (the hottest time of day) and then go back in the evening, recharged.
