I have been going to Disney for as long as ! can remember! My wife and I got engaged in the former Magic Kingdom Rose Garden in 2011. Our 3 children have all had their first haircuts there. This escape from reality and the limitless opportunities to create magical memories with my family is what keeps me coming back every year. Friends and family no longer ask if we are going to Disney World, they only inquire as to when! We are now Disney Vacation Club members and have been fortunate to be able to visit Walt Disney World during the spring, summer, fall, and winter. We have experienced RunDisney, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival, the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights, and the Candlelight Processional. In 2013 we had the pleasure of experiencing Aulani for a week. 1 word…Breathtaking. We have also been lucky enough to visit both Disneyland and California Adventure.
My favorite snack from Disney World are the Funnel Cakes!
To name a few favorite restaurants is a difficult task; all the Disney restaurants offer a wonderfully different experience! A few of my favorites we have visited often are Crystal Palace, Boma, Chef Mickey’s, and Mama Melrose.
If i had to chose one FastPass, It would have to be Avatar, Flight of Passage. Where else can you climb atop a banshee for a breathtaking flight over Pandora.
My Favorite Tip - Rope Drop! No matter what time of year you visit, if you arrive at Magic Kingdom at rope drop (park opening) you will be able to ride a lot of rides with low wait times the first two hours the park is open. Also, the best way to see Characters would be enjoying dining at a Character Meal. Don't stand in line for hours when you can sit and have a nice meal and the characters will come to you.
I have experience not only with traveling to all of the US Disney Parks and Resorts, but traveling with 3 children, including a set of twins! We have participated in several RunDisney Weekends and can’t wait for our next! Even the kids race.
