Top 5 Suggestions for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Our family attended Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party over the weekend, and we had a blast!  If you are planning on going to the party sometime in the next several weeks, here's a couple quick suggestions to help with your experience:​

1. The 10:45 PM Hocus Pocus Villan Spelltacular stage show and 11:15 PM "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade are less crowded than the first ones of the evening.  If you get a good spot for Happy Hallowishes Fireworks at 10:15 PM keep your spot for the later show and parade. 
2. Go clockwise through the Magic Kingdom, beginning with Adventureland as most go counter clockwise into Tomorrowland first.  Remember, with your ticket you can enter into the park at 4 PM even though the party starts at 7 PM, so take advantage of those extra hours if you can!
3. We found candy distribution areas in Frontierland had very short lines, if any.  However, even the long lines for candy moved very quickly.  
4. Lines are shorter for attractions during the first stage show and parade, which are great times to enjoy popular attractions like the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain. 
5. Spend less time in candy lines by asking for more candy as they accommodated us every time.  Just make sure you don't eat too much candy, like I did!
